FCA provided architecture, planning, and interior design services for this three story medical office building as part of the RWJBarnabas Health system-wide master planning and implementation efforts.
This major expansion of medical office space and ambulatory care space is being performed in conjunction with a comprehensive replacement of ICU capacity providing 32 patient beds. Potential physician practice tenants include: hematology/oncology suite, ophthalmology ear and eye clinic, and an internal medicine/multi specialty clinic. The scope of work also includes the creation of an entirely new main entrance to the hospital. The ICU is located within the medical office building footprint creating a unique partnership between the Hospital and building developers. The ICU incorporates decentralized nursing with central staff work zones for collaboration between the physicians and nursing.
