The project involved a major workplace transformation and consolidation and merger from multiple facilities where in most instances space was assigned on a hierarchical basis into an agile working environment where there is no assigned seating. With no defined program as a new Consumer Health group was being formed, FCA provided guidance from multiple other projects completed to assist in driving the workplace program scope. The agile work environment is based around choice, the GSK employee selecting the appropriate space to conduct the particular task at hand from the wide range of both open and enclosed work settings provided.
The project was designed and constructed within a very aggressive time of 10 months including the assessment of multiple real estate options. This was achieved through the project core team including GSK, the design team and construction team working together as a cohesive team to deliver the project.
In addition to the office space the project included both a specialty Consumer Shopper Science Experience Center and Consumer Sensory Lab.
