FCA designed the Emergency Department as part of a larger project a decade ago. Over time, the facility had looked outdated. We were retained again to develop an Interior Design masterplan to focus on creating facility-wide cohesion in the design aesthetic, enabling wayfinding on the growing campus, and flexibility in the finish palette as the scope of work is further defined. The concept was based on the AtlantiCare brand as established by the City Division project but tailored to create a distinctive campus identity. A priority area to include in the renovation was the Emergency Department. Planning layouts and concepts were maintained per the previous project, but finishes were upgraded per the new Interior Design Masterplan.
